2. General Information on Data Processing

Scope of processing

We collect and use personal data from our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services.

Legal bases

Where we obtain consent for processing operations, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR serves as the legal basis. For processing necessary for the performance of a contract, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR applies. For legitimate interests, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR applies.

Storage duration

Personal data is deleted as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies — unless statutory retention periods prevent deletion.

3. Website Provision and Server Logs

On every visit, our hosting provider automatically collects information transmitted by the browser. The following data is collected:

  • IP address (anonymized where possible)
  • Date and time of access
  • Requested URL and referrer
  • Browser type and version, operating system

This data is stored in our server's log files. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in stable and secure provision).

Hosting provider: This website is hosted by xhosts.uk (server location: London, United Kingdom). Server logs are stored there for a maximum of 7 days.

4. Contact Form and Email Inquiries

When you contact us via the form or by email, your details (email, optional name, message content) are stored for processing the inquiry and any follow-up questions.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contract initiation) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding).

Storage duration: Data is deleted once the inquiry has been fully processed — unless statutory retention periods (e.g., commercial or tax law) apply.

5. Cookies and Tracking

This website currently uses no tracking cookies, no analytics tools, and no re-targeting. Only technically necessary functions required for proper operation are used.

If analytics or marketing tools are used in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly and a consent banner will be set up.

6. Google Fonts

This website loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.google.com), a service provided by Google Ireland Limited. When loaded, the browser transmits technically necessary data (in particular the IP address) to Google servers.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in unified, professional presentation).

7. Data Processing in Third Countries

As part of our service (handwritten package inserts with production in China), order data (texts, client logos, factory shipping addresses) may be transferred to our production partner in China.

This data processing takes place exclusively on the basis of a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) and is limited to the necessary minimum. Personal end-customer data is not processed in this transfer unless you explicitly order individualized cards.

8. Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under the GDPR you have the following rights:

  • Information about personal data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification of incorrect data (Art. 16 GDPR)
